Congratulations to all finishers!

Congratulations to all finishers who braved Kincaid park to complete the Hammerman Triathlon and Duathlon. And of course thanks to all volunteers.

Hammerman Triathlon is a sprint-distance, off-road triathlon offering up a 0.5-mile swim, 13-mile mountain bike, and a 4-mile trail run. A grueling assortment of hills insures a true athletic challenge. New course changes for 2008! To keep the Hammerman fresh and exciting, we will be making it a bit longer and harder. The bike leg should end up around 13 miles long with added single track sections. The run will be made into a 4-mile leg with a few more hills! Check out the new course map (updated 6/17).

Taking place at the same time is the Hammerman Duathlon. Running on the same course and starting at the same time, a shorter 1.5-k trail run is substituted for the swim. Think water is for ducks? Do the Du!

Turkey Toe Tri Events offers the Alaskan multisport community several unique and challenging events. In addition to putting on the Hammerman Triathlon, we also organize the Northern Trust Triathlon. We strive for the highest quality and safest events in the state!
